Thank you all for supporting our fundraising for Comic Relief's Red Nose Day, together we raised a mega £350.57! We sold over 130 red noses and had a fun Friday in non-uniform. If you haven't seen our 'red nose and spoon' race photos do have a look on Facebook!
'Gunge the teacher' took a year off however if the demand is there and if we have brave and willing staff members it could return next Red Nose Day!
Stars of the Week
Well done to all our stars
for being a shining example in faith, love, self-control and patience.
Reception News
This week our Hedgehogs have been exploring the lifecycle of a frog. We have looked at some real-life frog spawn and were lucky enough to release some into the forest school pond last week! Mrs Copland also very kindly brought in some frog lifecycle figures for the children to explore independently. View More
Year 1 News
This week in science Year 1 have been investigating how different materials are suitable for building a shelter for a dinosaur. We have been testing how well our shelters can keep our dinosaurs safe across the four seasons, and in different weather conditions.
Year 2 have been applying their learning about minibeasts this week! We got out in the sun and went around the school grounds to see what creatures we could find. We used pooters and bug pots to collect creepy crawlies and observe them closely. We talked about what habitats they like to live in and why that might be. Don’t worry - all were safely returned to their natural home! View More
