Buddy Reading - World Book Week
This year World Book Day was on Thursday 7th March, it is a worldwide celebration of reading, authors and illustrators. Research shows that reading for pleasure is the single biggest indicator of a child’s future success, and something at Monksmoor we are very passionate about. Therefore we celebrated reading through a whole week of events!
Paired reading was the order of the day on Tuesday, we joined buddies from another year group to share a story or non-fiction book.
