Forest School - Busy Bees

Hedgehogs have been finding out more about bees in their Forest School sessions. We have discussed how bees pollinate our flowers, make honey and do little dances to tell other bees when they have found a good source of food. As bees are so important to our environment we want to look after them so made some bee water stations to provide them with a source of drinking water. We decorated pebbles with bright colours to attract the bees to the water. The children also made bees by wrapping wool around pinecones and also investigated the different colours that we can find in Forest School.
