During Reception's Forest School session we read 'Room on the Broom' by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.  The children then had the opportunity to hunt around Forest School for the lily, cone, twig and bone that the characters in the story needed to make their 'magnificent broom'!  The children could also make their own potions using some very special ingredients, make autumn wands or fly around the site on broomsticks we made together.  However, the large muddy puddle was still a huge attraction!!
