Year 4 were practising their skills with the mallets by carefully hammering nails into pieces of wood.  They then wrapped wool around the nails to create some brilliant spider's webs.  They also had the opportunity to try apple carving with the aim of making some shrunken heads which we could put on sticks and observe becoming more grotesque over time as they rotted - urgh!!!!
