Remembrance Day

Each class has been learning about the tradition of Remembrance Day and we came together in a whole school collective worship with Mrs Towers on Friday.  The children have learned the day has been held since the First World War and that it’s celebrated in many countries across the world.  People from different backgrounds, cultures, and religions come together to honour Remembrance Day.

We remember the bravery and courage of those who fought in the World Wars on Remembrance Day.  But, we also commemorate all those who have served in the armed forces since, and those who are serving today.
