In Year 1 this week have been learning about physical features in the environment.  We found out about mountains, lakes, rivers, coastlines and many more.  We used Google Earth to see if we could identify some of these features on our planet.  We have also been learning about the four countries of the United Kingdom and learnt a song to help us remember the names for the countries and their capital cities.  Some of us enjoyed the challenge of working on a large jigsaw of the UK.
