In Year one we have had great fun continuing our learning on ‘Moon Zoom’.  In design and technology we have been designing our own moon buggies following a criteria.  Some of the children began to make the chassis for their buggies this week, selecting the tools and equipment they need for the job.  Over the next few weeks we will make the wheels and axle to put the chassis on.

We have also been using Google Earth to explore our planet.  We had a go at locating the sea, forest, desert and polar regions.

In science, we have been learning about elasticity. We tested a variety of household materials and we measured and compared their elasticity.
