Year 1 have finished working on their taxis by making the wheels and axles.  They reviewed their plans to see which style of axle they had selected before making it.  Then they used either pegs, sellotape, cardboard brackets or pre-made holes in the chassis to put the rods through.  The children enjoyed testing their taxis to see how they moved.  Next they will evaluate them and make improvements.
