Year 1 had a wonderful day at Twycross Zoo! The highlight was the tiger coming to say hello right above our heads on the transparent tunnel! Everyone was extremely excited! We were also lucky enough to see a baby gibbon practising its swinging and taking milk from its mummy. 

Our favourite animals were the tiger, meerkats, giraffes, giant tortoise, chimpanzees and the penguins.

Emma said, “This trip was so amazing, it blew my mind!” Jacob said, “It was fantastic when the tiger jumped on the tunnel”. We all agreed it was a ROARsome day!
