Year 2 have enjoyed lots of busy learning this week! In English we have been finding out about lighthouses and writing our own non-chronological reports using our findings. In maths we have been learning about measure including mass and volume. In geography we have been talking about human and physical features at the coastline and using simple maps with a key to answer questions. We have especially enjoyed continuing our art unit this week, where we had some messy fun using powder paints to investigate colour mixing!  Between all the above, we’ve also fitted in some maypole rehearsals! Phew!
