In art we have been looking at People and Places, focusing on the works of LS Lowry (an artist, most famous for his drawings and paintings of the industrial urban landscapes of Manchester).  As part of our learning we explored drawing our own hands in detail.  We used some of the techniques that we had learned and practised last term – shading, hatching and cross-hatching.  A little challenging but we are all enjoying the variety in drawing human figures.
