Class

This term we have enjoyed learning about the Great Fire of London. We used role play to learn the key facts including why the fire spread so quickly.  We looked at pictures of artefacts from the time and compared them to life now. We made our own monuments to the Great Fire of London putting on all the key facts to help us to remember them in the future.  

Forest School

Year 1 have been busy in Forest School this term. They listened and joined in with the Easter Story and some chose to make Easter crosses by wool wrapping sticks. They worked on their map skills in an Easter egg hunt and enjoyed making Forest Faces using clay and natural materials.
