LUNCHTIME SUPERVISOR

Contract Type:            Permanent

Working Pattern:        Monday to Friday:  10.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year

                                    Mon-Thurs 11.30 am to 1.30 pm; Fri 11.30 am to 2.00 pm

Closing Date:               Ongoing until appointment filled

Salary:                         Grade C: Scale Point 2-3

We are looking to increase our lunchtime team.  We are looking for someone, preferably with experience but not essential, who can supervise and assist our wonderful children during lunchtime both inside the school and in the playground.  The role covers a range of activities to ensure that lunchtimes at school are a safe and effective part of children's education and development. 

During the meal, activities include monitoring children to encourage them to eat healthy lunches, helping children who may have difficulties, for example with cutting up food and encouraging good table manners.

After the meal, we want someone to supervise children and lead play in the playground (or hall/classrooms in wet weather), ensuring play is safe and fun for all. 

We will be looking for someone committed to safeguarding and the successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
