Dear Parents and Carers,

Visitor of Faith

During the afternoon of Thursday 18^th January, we have a Jewish visitor coming in to school to talk to Year 1 and Year 2.

In Year 1, we will be finding out all about the celebration of Shabbat to support our learning in RE this term. The children will have the opportunity to taste Challah bread.

Year 2 will be retrieving their learning from last term on the festival of Hannukah and will be offered donuts to taste.

In order to cover the costs of this visit and food, we would like to ask for a voluntary contribution of £2.50 that can be made via ParentMail. Please could you do so by 18^th January.

If your child is eligible for Pupil Premium then please contact the school office, as we may be able to offer support.

I am sure that the children will enjoy the experience and that it will provide them with a valuable opportunity to enrich their learning.
