We have been reading the book ‘Beegu’ in Year 1. We enjoyed the story and talked about the beautiful illustrations in the book. Using the book as inspiration we created our own art work by painting the background using different shades of blue, then we made some buildings by measuring and cutting strips of paper to size. Finally, we drew a picture of Beegu to complete our pictures. We also used building blocks to build our own rockets to get Beegu back home.
