We have had some very scientific Squirrels this week! We have set up our own investigation to find out what materials will degrade over time if left in the ocean. We had a brilliant class discussion about pollutants in our oceans and how things degrade over time before sorting a range of materials into alive, dead or never alive. We set up our own pots of salty water to imitate salty seawater and have left a range of different materials in them to observe over time. We will look closely for changes over the coming weeks and see if we can notice any patterns in which materials degrade the most and least.
