Nursery - Get Set and Go

Our focus story this week has been 'Jack and The Beanstalk' and the children have enjoyed retelling it, using actions and props.

In PE, we use Get Set 4 PE and this week the children have been learning to follow some instructions to take part in a transport dance using the actions of different vehicles as well as joining in with an alternate version of Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes.

We have marked British Science Week in Nursery with a series of activities on 'Connections.' The children learned that Science can involve changes, and we explored what would happen if warm water was added to colourful sweets, how symmetry can help us create a pattern as well as finding about the Farm to Fork journey of broccoli.
