Year 1 enjoyed a very interesting afternoon with our Jewish visitor. We learned all about why and how Shabbat is celebrated in a Jewish home. We got to smell sweet spices, taste Challah bread and some of us modelled some Jewish prayer clothes. We are looking forward to making our own Challah bread and having a Shabbat experience next week!
