Year 1 - The new London Tourist Board
Year 1 we have been learning about London landmarks as part of their geography unit. They found out the names and some interesting facts about a range of landmarks. The children pretended that their outside learning area was London and they displayed the different landmarks around the area. Everyone went on a hunt looking for the landmarks. Then the children used their new knowledge by role playing being tourist guides, sharing lots of interesting information about the landmarks with their friends.
