Year 2 have been learning about mechanisms this half term with Mrs Brock.  They now know that a machine is made up of components and the part that creates movement is called the mechanism.  They have learned about different types of mechanism including sliders, levers and linkages.  Everyone has had good fun making their own moving mechanisms.  Next term we will apply this learning for a festive purpose - watch this space!
