In Year 2 it’s NEW term, NEW topic!  We have moved on to “wriggle and crawl” and will be learning all about animals this half-term.  To start things off we learned about habitats and micro-habitats then went on a minibeast hunt around school!  We found lots of creatures including millipedes, beetles, worms and ants!  When we returned to school, we used our knowledge of the school grounds to have a go at our own sketch maps.  We have also been making comparisons between Daventry and Brasília this week, using aerial photographs to compare human and physical features.  What a busy week!
