Year 3 - More Cams, Clay and a Roman Game
This week the other half of Year 3 completed their models of cam mechanisms including labelled diagrams. They have also been working with clay: making cylinders, learning how to make joins and seals as well as scoring techniques.
In our Latin lessons the children have been learning about how word order is not important but word endings are. The children also played a traditional Roman game!
We have started focussing on athletics in PE – working on sprinting.
In maths, we finished our fractions unit and have moved onto capacity and mass.
