Dear Parents and Carers,

We are now in the final term of Year 2 and our children will be coming to the end of their time in key stage one. It is therefore almost time for teachers to make their end of year assessments of children's progress this year.  Evidence for these assessments is collated throughout the year through children's classroom work and practical activities.  In Year 2, children will also be assessed using statutory national tests (often known as SATs).  These have not taken place for the last two years due to the pandemic but will be returning this year.

We will be running an information session for parents, on Tuesday 3rd May at 6pm, to explain more about the format of the test papers and how end of key stage assessments are made.

This meeting will be held via Microsoft Teams. Please access the meeting via the link emailed home to Year 2 parents and carers on Monday 25^th April 2022.
